Baskin (2-disc 4K UHD Limited Edition Slipcover) - Severin Films
For those who like their horror to feel like a truly nightmarish descent into Hell, Can Evrenol‘s 2015 horror Baskin has blood and guts in abundance, which you'll now be able to experience in glorious 4K UHD thanks to Severin Films. In Baskin, a 5-man police squad is lured into a realm where torment, depravity and damnation are the only law, they’ll become prisoners of an abyss from which there may be no mortal escape. Severin's release comes with over 3 hours of special features, including a behind-the-scenes documentary, 10-years-later retrospective, Evrenol’s original short film and much more.
Daiei Gothic Vol. 2 Japanese Ghost Stories (Limited Edition Boxset) - Radiance Films
Nothing says creepy season like a gloomy, Gothic ghost story, and Japan has them in bundles. Radiance Films' Daiei Gothic Vol. 2 Japanese Ghost Stories boxset contains three more of the legendary studio's creepier output, including Tokuzo Tanaka's The Demon of Mount Oe and Haunted Castle, and Kimiyoshi Yosuda's The Ghost of Kasane Swamp, with Radiance's signature selection of stacked extras including new writing on all films, visual essays, audio commentaries and more.

In the Mouth of Madness (Limited Edition 4K UHD) - Arrow Films
It's not Halloween with a John Carpenter movie (or three), so no better time to remind you that Arrow Video is unleashing In the Mouth of Madness onto 4K UHD. Released in 1994, the third entry in Carpenter's so-called “Apocalypse Trilogy” stars Sam Neill as an insurance investigator who visits a small town while looking into the disappearance of Sutter Cane, a successful author of horror novels. If you haven't seen it, that's all we'll say. Arrow's release comes stacked with special features, including a brand new audio commentary from FANGORIA's own Colors of the Dark podcast hosts Rebekah McKendry and Elric Kane, archive audio commentaries from Carpenter, newly filmed interviews and more.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Collector's Edition 4K + Blu-ray + Digital) - 20th Century Studios
Can you believe it's been 50 years of shivering with antici…… pation?? Celebrate the anniversary of Jim Sharman's cult classic horror musical The Rocky Horror Picture Show with the new Collector's Edition release that gives Tim Curry's Dr. Frank-N-Furter a 4K upscale deserving of legend. The 10-month remaster project was overseen by Walt Disney Restoration, and will also release in theaters, so grab your garter belt and don't miss out.

Weapons (4K UHD + Digital) - New Line Home Video
Zach Cregger's Weapons set the horror world on fire earlier this year, and already has a prequel in development. Starring Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Benedict Wong, Austin Abrams (also set to lead Cregger's upcoming Resident Evil adaptation), Amy Madigan, and June Diane Raphael, Cregger's follow-up to Barbarian centers on a community left questioning the mysterious nighttime disappearance of all but one child from the same class. If you've managed to make it this far through the year and avoid all spoilers, New Line's 4K UHD and Digital release comes later this month so you can finally join in the discussions.
Eyes Without a Face (4K UHD + Blu-ray) - Criterion Collection
A bonafide classic, Georges Franju's 1960 horror Eyes Without a Face (aka Les Yeux sans Visage) gets a new 4K restoration from Criterion just in time for the season of atmospheric, ghostly cinema. Long before The Substance, Eyes Without a Face was tackling beauty standards in 1960, as a brilliant, obsessive doctor (Pierre Brasseur) attempts a radical plastic surgery to restore the beauty of his daughter’s disfigured countenance – at a horrifying price.

X Trilogy (Collector's Edition Boxset) - A24
We all knew it was coming, but A24 has finally given in to fan demand and delivered a boxset of all three of Ti West's X films with X, Pearl and MaXXXine on 4K UHD, the former two for the first time in the US. The boxset comes with a 64-page booklet with a new essay by Jon Dieringer, unreleased concept art, costume sketches, behind-the-scenes photography, original poster and VHS artwork created as set dressing for the films, and more, alongside over 90 minutes of making-of featurettes and new commentary tracks on all three films.
Shin Godzilla (4K UHD + Blu-ray Deluxe Collector's Edition) - Toho
Before Takashi Yamazaki's Oscar-winning Godzilla Minus One, the highest-grossing Japanese-produced Godzilla film in the franchise’s history was Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi's kaiju epic, which gets the 4K UHD treatment from Toho just in time for Halloween. The new Collector's Edition set comes with a host of special features including the black and white Shin Godzilla: ORTHOchromatic cut, deleted scenes, outtakes and a special booklet translated directly from the Japanese version of the release. Super kaiju collectors can also upgrade to the Ultimate Collector's Edition which includes the 4K UHD + Blu-ray set and an exclusive purple “Doomed” t-shirt. Go onnnn, treat yourself. It is horror Christmas, after all.
Three/Three... Extremes (Limited Edition Blu-Ray) - Arrow Video
Pan-Asian horror anthologies Three and Three… Extremes get the double feature treatment from Arrow Films with a new Limited Edition Blu-ray release. Grisly shorts from South Korea, Thailand, Japan and Hong Kong and acclaimed directors Park Chan-wook (Oldboy), Takashi Miike (Audition) and Kim Jee-woon (A Tale of Two Sisters) traverse ghostly and gory stories, with the release including both the short and feature-length version of Fruit Chan's horrifying Dumplings. Special features include new interviews, archive commentaries and more.

The Curse of Frankenstein (Limited Collector's Edition) - Hammer Films
Before you check out Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein, throw it back to one of the classic adaptations of Mary Shelley's iconic tale with Hammer's new Collector's Edition release of Terence Fisher's The Curse of Frankenstein from 1957. Starring horror legends Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing, the British sci-fi horror was Hammer's first colour horror film, and the first of their Frankenstein series. Hammer's new release comes with 168-page booklet featuring new and reprint articles, a 68-page comic featuring a reprint of the comic strip from legendary 1970s magazine The House of Hammer and more.
