28 Years Later (4K UHD Combo + Digital + SteelBook) - Sony
In case you missed Danny Boyle's 28 Years Later during its box office busting theatrical run, grabbing the new home video release is the next best way to experience the long-awaited zombie (yes, yes, infected) sequel. Following on from 2002's 28 Days Later, 28 Years Later stars Ralph Fiennes, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, newcomer Alfie Williams, Jodie Comer, and Jack O'Connell as survivors of the Rage Virus that ravaged Britain almost three decades prior. The 4K UHD release comes with special features including a behind-the-scenes look at creating the Infected (including Samson the Alpha in all his glory), and an in-depth dive into the creation of the unique camera set up of 28 Years Later‘s “iPhone rig”.
A Nightmare on Elm Street (7-film 4K Collection) - New Line Home Video
With Halloween right around the corner, you'll want to be immersing yourself in some of horror's most iconic neighborhoods, and what better place to start than with Elm Street. New Line's new 4K collection includes the original seven films in the iconic slasher franchise, which (we're sure we don't need to remind you), began in 1984 with Wes Craven's A Nightmare on Elm Street. Also included are A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge (1985), A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987), A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988), A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child (1989), Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare(1991), and Wes Craven’s New Nightmare (1994) – along with the uncut versions of A Nightmare on Elm Street and The Dream Child. The set comes stacked with archival special features, including commentaries with the late, great Craven, behind the scenes featurettes and alternate endings, as well as two brand new special features with new words from Freddy himself, Robert Englund.
Unfortunately, the Amazon exclusive SteelBook special edition looks to be selling out fast in the States, although UK fans can still grab a copy from Amazon right here.

Clown in a Cornfield (4K UHD SteelBook + Blu-Ray) - Shudder
Thank the horror gods for the good folks at Shudder who, unlike other certain big streaming platforms we could name, have no qualms about giving some of their best and most beloved pics the physical media release treatment. The 4K Ultra HD release of Eli Craig's slasher Clown in a Cornfield features a special-edition SteelBook, with an outer illustration of the villainous Frendo standing amongst the titular cornfields, with inner art featuring part of his reign of terror from the film. The physical release will also feature commentary from the filmmakers, as well as limited edition magnets, featuring a “Pop Out” Frendo and his various deadly weapons, which will make a perfect spooky season ornament come Halloween.
Pre-order Clown in a Cornfield here for a September 9 release.
Creepshow 2 (Limited Edition 4K UHD) - Arrow Video
The George A. Romero-penned 1987 horror-comedy anthology Creepshow 2 heads to 4K with a newly-restored release from Arrow. Based on stories by Stephen King, Creepshow 2 features three shorts directed by Creepshow cinematographer Michael Gornick. In Old Chief Wood’nhead, a group of young hoodlums face retribution from an unlikely source after looting a local hardware store. Meanwhile, The Raft sees a group of horny teens wishing they’d read the warning signs first before taking a dip in a remote lake. Finally, an uptight businesswoman finds herself with some unwanted company following a hit-and-run incident in The Hitch-hiker. Arrow's release comes with behind-the-scenes footage, new writing, archival interviews, a special effects featurette, plus a Limited Edition booklet featuring the comic adaptation of the unfilmed Creepshow 2 segment Pinfall by artist Jason Mayoh.

Frankenstein (Blu-ray Limited Edition 3D Lenticular Hardcore) - Via Vision Entertainment
With Guillermo del Toro's new take on Mary Shelley's classic sci-fi novel on the horizon, there's no better time to reacquaint yourself with the most famous cinematic portrayal of the Modern Prometheus, James Whale's 1931 Frankenstein. Australia's Via Vision Entertainment is giving the seminal, pre-Code horror a stacked new release that comes with documentaries, audio commentaries, the 1952 radio adaptation Suspense: Frankenstein, plus art cards.
Hellbender (Limited Edition Blu-Ray) - Arrow Video
As Shudder has recently acquired the Adams Family's Mother of Flies, you owe it to yourself to revisit the filmmaking family's stunning 2021 folk-horror Hellbender. Starring, directed by, written by and produced by Toby Poser, John Adams and their daughter Zelda Adams, Hellbender follows a mother-daughter metal band living in an isolated woodland home, whose relationship is challenged when the daughter discovers the family's secret. Arrow's new release comes with a new audio commentary from the family, a new video essay, behind-the-scenes footage and featurettes, a 2021 short film by Zelda and more.
Mama (Collector's Edition 4K UHD + Blu-ray) - Shout! Factory
Jessica Chastain's appalling wig aside, Andy Muschietti‘s Mama deserves more love. Executive produced by Guillermo del Toro, the 2013 supernatural horror carries his signature blend of cozy and creepy, while also delivering on the uncanny scares that Muschietti later mastered with It. Starring Chastain, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, and creature feature mainstay Javier Botet as the titular entity, Mama tells the haunting tale of two little girls who disappeared into the woods the day that their parents were killed, but bought something back with them when they were adopted. Shout!'s new release comes with deleted scenes, new interviews and audio commentaries.
Night of the Living Dead (SteelBook 4K UHD + Blu-ray + Digital Copy) - Colombia Pictures
In celebration of 35 years since its release, Tom Savini‘s 1990 Night of the Living Dead gets the 4K UHD treatment with a new SteelBook release that includes the Uncensored Cut of the FX legend's take on George A. Romero's classic zombie horror. The Night of the Living Dead Uncensored Cut restores the graphic violence (yay!) that was originally cut from the film in order to get it an X rating, giving Savini's original vision (as his feature directorial debut) the chance to play out as deserved. Per the man himself on Instagram: “Yes finally. Completely uncut, uncensored, and as i intended 35 years ago… it is black and white for a bit, as a homage to the original, and then color opens the curtain to my remake.”
Pre-order Night of the Living Dead here for a September 23 release.
Raging Grace (Limited Edition Slipcover Blu-Ray) - Brain Storm Media
Paris Zarcilla's 2023 Gothic-inspired horror Raging Grace is a righteous roar in the face of colonialism and modern day racism, bolstered by brilliant performances by Max Eigenmann, Leanne Best, David Hayward and future superstar Jaeden Paige Boadilla. In Raging Grace, an undocumented immigrant (Eigenmann) begins working as a care-taker for a terminal old man (Hayward), uncovering a terrible secret haunting the lavish home. Brain Storm Media's release comes with a new commentary from Zarcilla, a new video conference between Zarcilla and The Farewell director Lulu Wang, behind-the-scenes footage, new writing and more.
The Films of Larry Fessenden Vol. 1: Habit & No Telling (4K UHD + Blu-Ray set) - Vinegar Syndrome
Horror legend Larry Fessenden and his Glass Eye Pix have been a staple of the independent American genre scene for decades, so it's always nice to see his work get the recognition it deserves. The first volume of Vinegar Syndrome's Fessenden set comes with brand new 4K restorations of his shot-on-film features, starting with 1991‘s Frankenstein reimagining No Telling and 1997's vampire horror Habit. The slipcase and dual slipcover set includes a 40-page perfect-bound book of essays, with both films coming with a ton of special features including new and archival commentaries, behind-the-scenes footage, making of featurettes and more.
