30 Days of Night: Dark Days: In this direct-to-video sequel, set after the incidents in Barrow, Alaska, Stella Oleson relocates to Los Angeles, where she intentionally attracts the attention of the local vampire population to avenge the death of her husband, Eben. Starring Kiele Sanchez, Rhys Coiro, Mia Kirshner, Harold Perrineau, and Katharine Isabelle, Dark Days explores the story in a different setting with a band of vampire killers bent on the destruction of the nosferatu and their queen. 

Bram Stoker's Dracula:  Auteur director Francis Ford Coppola's beautifully baroque adaptation of the Irish writer Bram Stoker's creation of the king vampire that has endured to this day. Known for its gorgeous costumes and sets, it stars Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder, Anthony Hopkins, Keanu Reeves,  Richard E. Grant, Cary Elwes, Billy Campbell, Sadie Frost, and Tom Waits, who go all in on their performances in this gothic tale. 

Deliver Us from Evil: New York police officer Ralph Sarchie investigates a series of crimes. He joins forces with an unconventional priest, schooled in the rites of exorcism, to combat the possessions terrorizing their city. Directed by Scott Derrickson, it stars Eric Bana, Édgar Ramírez, Olivia Munn, Sean Harris, and Joel McHale. It is based on the real-life story of Ralph Sarchie, a retired NYPD sergeant and traditionalist Catholic demonologist.

The Evil Dead (1981): Writer and director Sam Raimi's classic about a group of five friends who travel to a cabin in the woods, where they unknowingly release flesh-possessing demons, stars Bruce Campbell, Ellen Sandweiss, Richard DeManincor, and Betsy Baker in the gory and hilarious template for the Evil Dead franchise, which still haunts us to this day.  Chris Sarandon, William Ragsdale, Amanda Bearse, Stephen Geoffreys, and Roddy McDowall star in this horror comedy about growing up as a horror fan and dealing with vampires. 

Fright Night:  A horror movie-loving teenager believes that the newcomer in his neighborhood is a vampire. He turns to the host of a local late-night TV show and former horror movie star for help in dealing with the neighborhood bloodsucker who is fixated on his girlfriend, who is the reincarnation of his lost love. 

Grace: The Possession: This tale of demonic possession stars Alexia Fast, Lin Shaye, and Alan Dale. It is the story of Grace, an 18-year-old Catholic girl whose purity is overtaken by a demonic force. The question is whether she can be saved or if the evil will consume her. 

Idle Hands: This cult horror comedy stars Devon Sawa, Seth Green, Elden Henson, Jessica Alba, and Vivica A. Fox. In it, a stoned teenage slacker's right hand becomes possessed with murderous intent and continues on its murderous spree even when it is separated from its owner's arm. 

Oculus: A recently released mental asylum inmate learns from his sister that the murders he was convicted of committing were actually orchestrated by a supernatural entity, the Lasser Glass mirror. Is the mirror evil, or is it all in the minds of the two siblings? Writer and director Mike Flanagan's second film, which is based on his short film, stars Karen Gillan, Brenton Thwaites, Katee Sackhoff, and Rory Cochrane. 

Only Lovers Left Alive: Tilda Swinton, Tom Hiddleston, Mia Wasikowska, Anton Yelchin, Jeffrey Wright, Slimane Dazi, and John Hurt star in indie director Jim Jarmusch's Gothic vampire romance, which travels through the centuries with a comedic touch. It is the story of a depressed musician who reunites with his lover but also happens to be an immortal blood drinker. However, their romance, which has already endured several centuries, is disrupted by the arrival of her uncontrollable younger sister.

Paranormal Activity: This found-footage horror smash, directed by Oren Peli, is about a couple who become increasingly disturbed by a nightly demonic presence after moving into a suburban home in San Diego. After an increasingly terrifying series of supernatural events, the husband and wife set up a camera to document the nocturnal terror. Katie Featherston and Micah Sloat star in this film, which was originally filmed independently for $15 000 but spawned a franchise after it was acquired by Paramount and enhanced with a new ending that cost $200, 000. 

Paranormal Activity 2: In the prequel, a family sets up security cameras around their home, only to realize that the events unfolding before them are more sinister than they seem after experiencing what they think are a series of “break-ins.” Micah Sloat and Katie Featherston return as their characters from the first film, co-starring with Sprague Grayden, Brian Boland, and Molly Ephraim.

Paranormal Activity 3: The second prequel in the series, set eighteen years in the past, was written by Christopher Landon and directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman. After a present-day prelude starring Katie Featherstone as the adult Katie, the action switches to 1988, when young sisters Katie and Kristi befriend an invisible entity called Tobi, who resides in their home.

Paranormal Activity 4: Five years after Katie and Hunter's disappearance, a suburban family witnesses strange events in their neighborhood when a woman and a mysterious child move in. The directing team of Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman return, as does series star Katie Featherstone. 

Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones: Directed by Christopher Landon, who co-wrote the script with Oren Peli, the film explores the story of a young man, Jesse Arista, who becomes the target of a malevolent entity in Oxnard, California. Jesse and his friends attempt a supernatural ritual to deal with the demon, but things spiral out of control. 

Pet: Dominic Monaghan, Ksenia Solo, Jennette McCurdy, and Nathan Parsons star in this story of a man who bumps into an old crush and then holds her captive underneath the animal shelter where he works.

Pet Sematary II:  Director Mary Lambert returns to the Stephen King story with a sequel that stars Edward Furlong, Anthony Edwards, and Clancy Brown. When a teenage boy and his father move to his recently deceased mother's hometown, where they encounter the ancient Native American cemetery with the power to raise the dead.

Quarantine: The American remake of the Spanish horror hit [REC] stars Jennifer Carpenter, Jay Hernandez,  Greg Germann, and Johnathon Schaech. A television reporter and her cameraman become trapped inside a building quarantined by the CDC after the outbreak of a mysterious virus that turns humans into bloodthirsty killers.

The Ring:  Director Gore Verbinski's take on the Japanese chilling horror hit stars Naomi Watts, Martin Henderson, Brian Cox, and David Dorfman. When a journalist finds a mysterious videotape that seems to cause the death of anyone one week to the day after they view it, she must investigate its origins to save the people she loves. 

The Ring Two: Six months after the incidents involving the lethal videotape, new clues prove that a new evil is lurking in the darkness surrounding a new group of potential victims. The Japanese director of the original film, Ringu, directs this sequel in the American Ring franchise. 

Rings: A young woman finds herself on the receiving end of a terrifying curse that threatens to take her life in 7 days in the second sequel of the American franchise.  Alex Roe, Johnny Galecki, Aimee Teegarden, Bonnie Morgan, and Vincent D'Onofrio star in this supernatural ode to creeping yourself out to old VHS tapes. 

Silent Hill: Based on the popular video game series and written by Roger Avary, Silent Hill stars Radha Mitchell, Sean Bean, Laurie Holden, Deborah Kara Unger, Kim Coates, and Alice Krige.  This is the atmospheric story of Rose Da Silva taking her adopted daughter, Sharon, to the town of Silent Hill in an attempt to cure her of her ailment. After a violent car crash, Sharon disappears, and Rose begins a horrific journey to get her back.

Skinwalkers: A 12-year-old boy and his mother become the targets of two warring werewolf packs, each with different intentions and motives, one who believes in peace and co-existence and another bent on bloodlust. Jason Behr, Elias Koteas, and Rhona Mitra star in this film, directed by James Isaac, with creature effects by Stan Winston's studio. 

Urban Legend: Jared Leto, Alicia Witt, Rebecca Gayheart, Tara Reid, Michael Rosenbaum, and Loretta Devine star in this 90s slasher classic that uses grisly urban legends as the inspiration for the creative killer. Directed by Jamie Blanks and written by Silvio Horta, the film has a cast of future stars and is still popular among horror film lovers. 

Urban Legends: Bloody Mary: The third and final, so far, film in the Urban Legend series was directed by Mary Lambert and is a sequel in name only. This supernatural fright film is about a trio of high school friends chanting an incantation, unleashing an evil spirit from the past with deadly consequences after being dared to do so on prom night. 

Urban Legends: The Final Cut: Jennifer Morrison, Matthew Davis, Hart Bochner, Joseph Lawrence, Anthony Anderson, and Loretta Devine star in this sequel, set in a film school, sees the possible return of the urban legend-inspired serial killer. Amy Mayfield, a student, decides to make a film based on the murders, which leads to a fresh wave of carnage. Director Scott Derrickson co-wrote the script with Paul Harris Boardman.

Wolf:  This romantic horror film stars Jack Nicholson, Michelle Pfeiffer, James Spader, Kate Nelligan, Richard Jenkins, and Christopher Plummer in a story of rival co-workers at a publishing house who become werewolves competing for the love of the beautiful and rebellious daughter of his new boss.

Tubi has some newer films, like Bitch Ass, Corporate Animals, and Osgood Perkins' Gretel & Hansel, that you may have missed. It certainly is a chance to check out another film from Perkin's career before he came to prominence with Longlegs and The Monkey. 

You can't miss with Tubi because, for all of the titles on this list, there are many films on the service that you haven't seen and may have never even heard of. The streamer is famous for acquiring lots of obscure fright flicks that may have never been available before. Explore their catalog when you are looking for something new because you are almost guaranteed to find something that you never knew you needed in your life. 

Bitch Ass: A gang initiation goes wrong when a group of four recruits break into a house of horror, as they're all forced to play deadly games for their lives. Win, and you live – lose, and you die.

Cloverfield: A found footage monster movie set in New York City and set on the night of a going away party for one of the members of a group of friends. As the romantic drama between the friends comes to a head, they are forced to fight their way out of Manhattan but return to save one of their own. 

Constantine: Detective Angela Dodson approaches Constantine, a demon hunter, to help her investigate her twin sister's mysterious death. As he digs deeper, he realizes that demons are trying to enter the human world.

Corporate Animals: A comedy horror film about CEO Lucy Vanderton taking her staff on corporate team building in some underground desert caves in New Mexico. They get stuck there, and the terror begins as Vanderton cruelly makes decisions that lead to the team becoming trapped without food. Their options to survive are limited without considering cannibalism. Jessica Williams, Karan Soni, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Calum Worthy, Ed Helms, and Demi Moore star in this cynical take on corporate life. 

Evil Dead (2013): Director and co-writer, with Rodo Sayagues, Fede Álvarez's fourth installment of the Evil Dead franchise, which brought the series roaring back to bloody life. Five friends head to a remote cabin, where the discovery of a Book of the Dead leads them to unwittingly summon up demons living in the nearby woods.  Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Jessica Lucas, and Elizabeth Blackmore star in this terrifying sequel. 

Godzilla vs. Kong: The epic next chapter in the cinematic Monsterverse pits two of the greatest icons in motion picture history against each other—the fearsome Godzilla and the mighty Kong—with humanity caught in the balance.  Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza González, Lance Reddick, Kyle Chandler, and Demián Bichir in this Kaiju film directed by Adam Wingard. 

Gretel & Hansel: Writer and director Osgood Perkins' adaptation of the Grimm Brothers fairy tale stars Sophia Lillis, Sam Leakey, and Alice Krige. Two siblings, Hansel and Gretel. In a distant land, they wander through the woods in search of food and work. When a mysterious lady offers them a way out, they accept without thinking about the consequences.

Hannibal: Ridley Scott's adaptation of Thomas Harris' sequel to his book The Silence of the Lambs stars the all-star cast of Anthony Hopkins, Julianne Moore, as Clarice Starling, Gary Oldman, Ray Liotta, Frankie R. Faison, Giancarlo Giannini, and Francesca Neri. Living in exile, Dr. Hannibal Lecter tries to reconnect with now disgraced F.B.I. Agent Clarice Starling finds himself a target of revenge from a powerful victim.

Hellboy (2004): A demon raised from infancy after being conjured by and rescued from the Nazis grows up to become a defender of humanity against the forces of darkness. Directed by Guillermo Del Toro, this adaptation of the popular graphic novel stars  Ron Perlman, Selma Blair, Jeffrey Tambor, Karel Roden, Rupert Evans, Doug Jones, and John Hurt

Hereditary: Ari Aster's creepy breakthrough film became a touchstone for fright fans in 2018. Toni Collette, Alex Wolff, Milly Shapiro, Ann Dowd, and Gabriel Byrne star in the story of a family fractured by anger who are then tossed into a whirlwind of grief after a ghastly accidental death. 

Life (2017): This science fiction space horror film has become even more popular on streaming and stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson, Ryan Reynolds, Hiroyuki Sanada, Ariyon Bakare, and Olga Dihovichnaya. A crew on the International Space Station makes an astounding discovery of potential life on Mars but the lifeform may prove much more dangerous than first expected. 

The People Under the Stairs: Directed by horror legend Wes Craven, this film tells the story of a child named Fool who breaks into the home of his family's landlords. He discovers that they have mutilated several boys and kept them imprisoned under stairs. Fool tries to escape with a girl named Alice, but can they outwit their captors? The comedic terror tale stars Brandon Adams, Everett McGill, Wendy Robie, A. J. Langer, and Ving Rhames.

Seven: Also styled as Se7en, director David Fincher's serial killer film is about a mysterious and highly intelligent murderer who seems to be dealing out vengeance through macabre murders based on the seven deadly sins.  Written by Andrew Kevin Walker, Seven stars Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Gwyneth Paltrow, Richard Roundtree, R. Lee Ermey and John C. McGinley. 

The Silence of the Lambs: Director Jonathan Demme's outstanding adaptation of the Thomas Harris novel won five Academy Awards and was the fifth highest-grossing film of the year. It stars Jodie Foster, Anthony Hopkins, Scott Glenn, Ted Levine, Anthony Heald, Brooke Smith, Kasi Lemmons, and Frankie Faison, with brief appearances by Roger Corman, George Romero, and Chris Isaak. 

Split: James McAvoy, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Betty Buckley star in M. Night Shyamalan's film about a serial killer with dissociative identity disorder and 23 different personalities. When he kidnaps three young women out of a parking lot and imprisons them, they must deal with his different selves to try and survive and escape. 

The Thing (1983): Horror legend John Carpenter's adaptation of Who Goes There, a novella that also inspired the 50s horror film The Thing From Another World. It stars an ensemble cast led by Kurt Russell, with A. Wilford Brimley, T. K. Carter, David Clennon, Keith David, Richard Dysart, Charles Hallahan, Peter Maloney, Richard Masur, Donald Moffat, Joel Polis, and Thomas G. Waites in a tale of paranoia and distrust among Antarctic researchers who find a shapeshifting alien being bent on taking over the world. 

The Thing (2011):  Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Joel Edgerton, Ulrich Thomsen, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and Eric Christian Olsen star in this prequel to the John Carpenter classic. Directed by Danish filmmaker Matthijs van Heijningen Jr., it tells the story of the Norwegian team of researchers who first encountered the terrifying enemy that later attacked the American team of scientists.
