The collectible wars are on, and NEON is coming for A24's crown for this year's must-have home decor addition with their new, totally WTF piece of merch inspired by Osgood Perkins' latest dark trip, Keeper.
Described as “a pretty little gift you'll never forget” (we'll say), the Keeper head is reassuringly not an actual human head, but is instead crafted from resin and hair, and comes incased in honey in a 1/2 gallon jar, complete with sealed metal lid and an ominous note.
Starring Tatiana Maslany and Rossif Sutherland, Keeper follows a couple as they escape for a romantic anniversary weekend at a secluded cabin, only to find that said cabin harbors the presence of an unspeakable evil that unveils horrifying secrets – one of those being a head encased in honey, apparently?
Now, full disclaimer, this writer has actually not seen Keeper yet, and has for the most part managed to remain relatively spoiler-free. So what exactly this whole ‘Honey Head' business is about, I frankly have no idea. When I see a jar of honey, personally my mind goes first and foremost to one Mr Winnie-the-Pooh, who, as we know, is a connoisseur of the sweet treat. So, I have no choice but to assume, dear reader, that Keeper ties in somehow to the Poohniverse, aka the Twisted Childhood Universe kickstarted by Rhys Frake-Waterfield's indie slasher Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey.
Am I right? Is Keeper secretly part of the Poohniverse? No, but I have no idea what's going on here either way. Assuming you do, head over to NEON's official site to grab your own Honey Head Jar.

A mysterious honey head arrived on the doorstep of our Digital Editor, see it in action below.
