The Mortuary Assistant
Based on the popular horror video game of the same name, the long awaited trailer for The Mortuary Assistant is finally here! Original game creator Brian Clarke co-wrote and executive produced this feature adaptation.
Willa Holland stars as protagonist Rebecca Owens, working the night shift at the mortuary and battling some demonic spirits… all in a night’s work! Rebecca must figure out why the mortuary is haunted and fight against the possessed spirits before they take her, too.
The Mortuary Assistant is in theaters February 13.
The Bride!
The Bride! is one of my personal most anticipated movies of 2026. It looks like Maggie Gylenhaal just went absolutely off the rails with this one (complimentary obviously). It looks vibrant and weird, and I do think this is going to be the top Halloween costume of 2026. I’m calling it very early, I know, but I want this on record. The trailer delivers some real Bonnie and Clyde vibes, with what appears to be a dance number in the mix.
The Bride! is in theaters March 6.
This Is Not A Test
This YA horror thriller is based on Courtney Summers’ book of the same name and stars Heart Eyes’ Olivia Holt, Clown In A Cornfield’s Carson MacCormac, and Froy Gutierrez from the recent The Strangers reimaginings.
This Is Not A Test follows a very small group of teens who are forced to take shelter in their high school while the outside world is ravaged by zombies. This trailer is far more intense than the initial premise suggests; the zombies are fast and highly violent. No shambling and guttural groaning here.
This Is Not A Test is in theaters February 20.
Monarch: Legacy Of Monsters Season 2
The Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season 2 trailer gives us a glimpse of Kong and also reveals a terrifying new deep-sea kaiju, Titan X. Much of the season 1 cast is returning, and Prey star Amber Midthunder is also joining the party. If you need a refresher on Monarch season 1 (it’s been a bit!), we’ve got you covered with full season 1 recaps.
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters returns to Apple TV Feb 27.
Lee Cronin's The Mummy
Evil Dead Rise director Lee Cronin is back with The Mummy. If Evil Dead Rise is any indication of the absolute nastiness that is in store for fans, then we’d better buckle up because all signs point to a very dark treat indeed. It appears we are dealing with death and resurrection in a potentially more disturbing vein than the original. You'll see what I mean in the trailer below.
The Mummy hits theaters April 17.
