Pride is here, and with that comes FANGORIA’s annual merch fundraiser! We’re partnering with horror apparel brand Fright-Rags for the eighth year in a row to unveil the latest designs that you can purchase to help support grassroots LGBTQ organizations across the country.
This year, two designs are available for the discerning wearer/Fango reader. First is the classic Pride shirt, which features a rainbow version of the FANGORIA logo on a black background, and comes in three styles: traditional unisex, Comfort Colors unisex, and women's. There’s also this year’s special design, a white and red ringer tee featuring a glittery red version of the FANGORIA logo, because we’re nothing if not fabulous.
In past years, this special fundraiser has raised money for organizations like The LGBT+ Center Orlando, Pride Community Center of the Tri-Cities, and the Grass Roots Gay Rights Foundation, all of which you should definitely support as well. But this year, one hundred percent of the profits from these shirts — yes, you heard that right — will be donated to The Venus House, an LBGTQ+ historical landmark and community action program. Supporting the legacy of Venus Pellagatti Xtravaganza, the nonprofit is dedicated to providing support and relief for the LGBTQ+ community in Jersey City, as a part of New Jersey’s Garden State Equality organization.
FANGORIA’s new Pride shirts are available for pre-order now on Fright-Rags’ website, and will ship the week of July 17.
