After months of teasing the newest installment in the gory franchise, Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have finally revealed when we’ll be able to play Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival. The new survival horror game hits shelves this fall, bringing the gruesome world of the cenobites to consoles everywhere with unique new gameplay modes.
Hitting platforms on October 8, Hellraiser: Revival puts players inside an all-new story in the Hellraiser universe, as they accidentally kickstart Pinhead’s ritual to unleash torment on the world. The new game’s synopsis is as follows:
As Aidan, you’ll descend into the darkest depths of the underworld on a journey to rescue your girlfriend Sunny from an eternal realm of torment at the hands of the depraved Cenobites within the Labyrinth.
Battle for your love in an unholy war against Hell’s most deviant wretches, cultists and creatures with the infernal powers of the Genesis Configuration puzzle box and an arsenal of earthly weapons. But will you be able to hold onto your immortal soul against the malicious domination of Pinhead (voiced by series icon Doug Bradley)? Or will you succumb to your vices and suffer for eternity?

Players will be able to wield the Genesis Configuration to take advantage of its unique powers, including pyrokinesis, telekinesis, and the franchise’s iconic Hell Chains, as well as use it to solve puzzles and transform parts of the Labyrinth. To rescue their one true love, they’ll have to fight deviants, cultists, and infernal priests to save their immortal souls, all while thwarting the Cenobites’ sinister plans.
Hellraiser: Revival will be available in two special editions when it hits shelves on October 8, the standard edition, retailing for $39.99, and the deluxe edition, retailing for $49.99. Details on the deluke edition are forthcoming, but players who pre-order either version will unlock two exclusive in-game items: the Labyrinth Pistol Skin and the Martyr Sawblade Skin.
Fans can also purchase special collector’s edition bundles through Boss Team Games, which feature a copy of the game along with special themed collectibles. The “Genesis Edition” ($130 USD) features the game, an exclusive trading card pack, and your very own Lament Configuration, from which you can choose the original version from the film or the new version designed for the game. An upgraded “Cenobite Edition” ($200 USD) features all three of those items, plus a special cenobite statue, a steelbook case for the game, an art book and print of the game’s Pinhead design, a poster, and an enamel pin set, all in a collector’s edition box.
Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival arrives on Steam, PlayStation 5, and XBox Series XIS on October 8.
