Just in time for Halloween season, FANGORIA, Outside the Box [Office] and Paramount Scares are bringing a special theatrical screening of Anthony Hickox's Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth hosted by USC SCA Professor, academic, filmmaker and friend of Fango Dr. Rebekah McKendry. If you're in LA, we'd love you to open the box and join us on October 30.

Released in 1992, Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth follows the events of the 1987 horror classic Hellraiser and 1988 sequel Hellhound: Hellraiser II. Starring Terry Farrell, Paula Marshall and of course the iconic Pinhead himself Doug BradleyHellraiser III: Hell on Earth, executive produced by series creator Clive Barker, follows:

Joey Summerskill is an ambitious TV reporter whose life is changed forever after witnessing the death of a tormented teenage boy. In her twisted journey to uncover the truth, she discovers a strange puzzle box, uncovering an open door to the Cenobites' demonic world of pleasure and pain. Once again Pinhead returns to walk the Earth, creating a new army of from the transmuted flesh of his victims. He has one desire—to reclaim the Box and free himself forever from the powers of Hell.

The special screening will take place at Los Angeles' Robert Zemeckis Center for Digital Arts at 7pm, and is completely free. Reservations must be made in advance and can be done so here.

Following the screening, Dr. McKendry and invited guests from the franchise, SFX artist Gary Tunnicliffe and writer Peter Atkins.

Outside the Box [Office] is USC SCA's weekly showcase “for upcoming releases highlighting world cinema, documentary and independent film titles. The series draws from around the globe to present movies that may challenge, inspire or simply entertain.”
