He’ll co-host the BlumFest panel with NAILED IT comedian Nicole Byer.

If you’re chomping at the bit to know what horror auteur Mike Flanagan is doing next, we have good news for you: the Fall of the House of Usher creator will be serving as special guest moderator for Blumhouse’s “BlumFest” appearance at this year’s New York Comic Con, where he’ll help unveil a whole new slate of scares for 2025 alongside comedian Nicole Byer.

For those lucky enough to attend NYCC, the panel is scheduled for this Friday, October 18, at 2:30PM ET in the Javits Center’s Empire Room, and will also feature Blumhouse CEO and founder Jason Blum as they reveal the company’s plans to celebrate their upcoming fifteenth anniversary in 2025. Along with James Wan’s Atomic Monster, they’ll be giving fans a special look at their slate for 2025, as well as a peek at their first ever video game. The full line-up will include the following:

  • The heart-stopping world premiere trailer debut for Wolf Man, directed by horror visionary Leigh Whannell. This will be followed by a Q&A session with Whannell, bringing fans inside his creative vision for the film.
  • Exclusive first-look footage from Christopher Landon's Drop, starring Meghann Fahy, and a Q&A with the director and actress.
  • An exclusive first look at Jaume Collet-Serra's The Woman in the Yard, starring and executive produced by Danielle Deadwyler.
  • A Q&A with M3GAN 2.0 star and producer Allison Williams, plus a special message just for NYCC attendees from M3GAN herself.
  • The scares don't end with film. BlumFest will also pull back the curtain with a trailer for Fear the Spotlight, Blumhouse's first video game.

Some of this footage will be exclusive to attendees at the panel, as well as appearances from some other unnamed friends of the horror house, which is certain to be drop-dead fun. Flanagan will moderate the numerous Q&As, while Byer will emcee the whole event, which looks to be the cornerstone for horror at this year’s convention.

The BlumFest panel will take place on Friday, October 18, only for ticketed NYCC attendees. The convention runs from October 17 to October 20, and fans can find more information on the panel here.
