Clive Barker-Inspired Kids’ Movie NIGHT OF THE ZOOPOCALYPSE Hits Theaters Next March

David Harbour stars in the animated tale of mutant madness.

If you're a parent of a horror-loving little one, the Clive Barker-inspired Night of the Zoopocalypse hits theaters on March 7, 2025, and is the perfect way to introduce them to the themes of the genre maestro.

Starring voice performances from Stranger ThingsDavid Harbour, Scott Thompson, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee and Gabbi Kosmidis, Night of the Zoopocalypse is directed by Ricardo Curtis (The Incredibles, The Angry Birds Movie, The Iron Giant) and Rodrigo Perez-Castro (The Book of Life, Ice Age: Collision Course, Ferdinand) from a script by Steven Hoban and James Kee.

In Night of the Zoopocalypse:

When a meteor crashes into Colepepper Zoo, it unleashes a virus that transforms the zoo animals into zombies. Gracie (Kosmidis), a young quirky wolf, teams up with a gruff mountain lion named Dan (Harbour). Together they lead a team of survivors – including Xavier, the movie-obsessed lemur, Frida the fiery capybara, and Poot the baby pygmy hippo – on a perilous mission to escape the virus and rescue their zoo, on one spooky NIGHT OF THE ZOOPOCALYPSE!

Night of the Zoopocalypse premiered at Sitges earlier this year, and will have a wide release via Viva Pictures early next year.

Laura Prieto, vice president of acquisitions at Viva Pictures, had this to say of the colorful creature feature:

“We’re thrilled to bring Night of the Zoopocalypse to family audiences everywhere. It’s a perfect mix of spooky, fun, and adventure, and the ideal film for families to experience together at the movie theater.”

Catch Night of the Zoopocalypse in theaters next March.
