Scott Beck and Bryan Woods' Heretic is one of the best horror films of 2024, and largely thanks to its witty, sharp-as-a-tack screenplay, which is now available to read online courtesy of Deadline.
Starring Hugh Grant, Yellowjackets’ Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East, Heretic follows two young missionaries who knock on the door of one Mr Reed, a seemingly kindly gentleman who is very keen to discuss the ins and outs of religion with the two Sisters.
Currently sitting pretty with a total box office gross of $43 million, Heretic has officially become one of A24's best performing movies out of the production giant's stacked filmography.
