Genre giants Shudder and Arrow Video are uniting to bring several of the streamer's movies to the shelves of physical media fans, Variety reports today.

The eight titles getting the limited-edition physical release treatment are Ole Bornedal’s Nightwatch (1994), Rob Jabbaz’s The Sadness (2021), Joseph Winter and Vanessa Winter’s Deadstream (2022), Christian Tafdrup’s Speak No Evil (2022), Michelle Garza Cervera’s Huesera: The Bone Woman (2022), the Adams family’s Hellbender (2021), Bornedal’s Nightwatch: Damons Are Forever (2023) and Jennifer Reeder’s Perpetrator (2023).

Variety confirm that Hellbender is the only film being released exclusively in the U.S., with Nightwatch, Demons Are Forever and Perpetrator are all receiving a dual release in the U.S. and U.K. The remainder of the films are currently only being released in the U.K. in limited-edition Blu-ray sets, with The Sadness releasing in 4K.

Although formal release dates haven’t been finalized, Arrow said that the first titles in its partnership with Shudder will debut in the summer of 2025.

Shudder's vice president of programming Sam Zimmerman confirms the good news, saying “Arrow’s stellar work is a staple of our shelves. To see Shudder films get the treatment is a privilege and a delight,” with Arrow sales and marketing director Dean Lawson adding “After years of working with the AMC team licensing many films from the Arrow Video catalogue for the vaunted Shudder platform, it’s fantastic to now showcase a selection of their Originals on physical media in 2025.”

Look out for the above titles hitting shelves sometime this summer.
