Hitting Prime Video on April 3 is Kevin Bacon-starring supernatural action-horror series The Bondsman, with the streamer releasing a new Red Band trailer today that teases we're in for a Bacon bloodbath.
Created by Grainger David, written by showrunner Erik Oleson (Arrow) and produced by Blumhouse Television, The Bondsman follows Hub Halloran, a bounty hunter who comes back from the dead and finds his job now has a demonic element.
Starring alongside Bacon are singer Jennifer Nettles (The Exorcist: Believer), Damon Herriman (Mindhunter), Maxwell Jenkins (Dear Edward) Beth Grant (Donnie Darko) and Jolene Purdy (Orange is the New Black).
Directors on duty for the series include Sanaa Hamri (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power), Thor Freudenthal (Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters), Lauren Wolkstein (Queen Sugar), and Catriona Mckenzie (Shining Vale). Nettles and Bacon, play ex-spouses once in a band together, and both put their musical chops to good use by writing several songs for The Bondsman.
