With Ryan Coogler's vampire bloodbath Sinners right around the corner, Warner Bros. has released a new teaser as well as a behind-the-scenes featurette demonstrating how the R-rated supernatural horror was filmed for IMAX, and some posters to whet your appetite.
Hitting theaters on April 18, Sinners stars Michael B. Jordan as troubled twin brothers Smoke and Stack, who return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.
Starring alongside Jordan are Hailee Steinfeld (Bumblebee, True Grit), Jack O’Connell (Ferrari, the upcoming 28 Years Later), Wunmi Mosaku (His House, Deadpool & Wolverine), Lola Kirke (Gone Girl), Jayme Lawson (The Woman King), Omar Benson Miller (True Lies) and Delroy Lindo (Da 5 Bloods).
In the new IMAX clip below, Coogler, Jordan and Sinners‘ DoP Autumn Durald Arkapaw talk more about the film's blues roots, and what it was like to shoot on 65mm, leading Jordan to describe the film as “beautiful, really beautiful” (and bloody as all hell, by the looks of it!)
IMAX 70mm early access screenings of Sinners will take place in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco on April 16.
