The People Under the Stairs star Sean Whalen directs and stars in Swipe, a sadistic indie horror which gets a brand new teaser today.
Swipe, Whalen's second feature following 2024's horror-comedy Crust, follows a young woman who must save her imprisoned brother from the Doyles, a sinister family of captors made up of a ruthless mother and her three mute daughters.
Starring alongside Whalen are Elaine Hendrix (Dynasty), Hana Mae Lee (Pitch Perfect), Dominique Columbus (Road House 2024), Ray Santiago (One of Them Days) Phillip Garcia (Clean Slate), Bryan Fitzgerald (American Rust), Alex Rich (The Patient) and Rebekah Kennedy (To The Bone) who also produces. Per Deadline, who debuted the trailer earlier today, Whalen said: “Even though I am the director, this was a huge team effort, especially from my producing partners and writer Mardini. I can’t wait to unleash The Doyle ladies into the world!”
