See JAWS In IMAX As Part Of 50th Anniversary Celebrations

Steven Spielberg's ocean creature feature classic hits the big screen (again) in August.

The Jaws 50th anniversary celebrations continue – as well as all-new merch, Universal Hollywood's new Amity Island summer event, a brand new 4K UHD SteelBook release and more, Steven Spielberg's iconic ocean creature feature is snapping onto IMAX screens across the country at the end of August.

If you're nowhere near an IMAX screen, fear not – Jaws is also continuing its theatrical rerun at Alamo Drafthouse locations across the country,  with Jaws: The Exhibition coming to the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures beginning September 14, with tickets available now. Plenty of opportunities to get your big screen fill of toothy Bruce and his summertime adventures.

On the odd chance you've spent your entire life under a rock and have never seen Jaws (now is the perfect time to rectify that!), the summertime classic stars Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss and Robert Shaw as a police chief, marine biologist and shark hunter on a desperate quest to destroy a great white shark terrorizing the seaside community of Amity.

Tickets for Jaws in IMAX are now on sale. For more, may we remind you that, five decades on, Jaws is still very much a horror movie, and always has been.
