JURASSIC WORLD REBIRTH Invades Universal Studios Hollywood For Mega Movie Summer

Celebrate the newest installment with photo ops, meet and greets, and more.
Jurassic World Rebirth

If you liked Jurassic World Rebirth, then hold onto your butts, because Universal Studios Hollywood has the perfect theme park experience in store for you. As a part of their Mega Movie Summer event, the Los Angeles park has introduced a number of special experiences themed after the Scarlett Johansson-led blockbuster, giving fans the opportunity to step back in time to when dinosaurs ruled the earth.

Jurassic World — The Ride will be amping up its eighty-four foot water drop in the ride’s finale with the menacing roar of a Mosasaurus, the massive aquatic creature featured in the franchise, and four new dilophosaurus and water geysers will also be added to shower guests with plenty of that sweet, sweet chlorinated ride water.  Guests will also be able to encounter Dolores, the adorable Aquilops dino featured in Rebirth, alongside her handler, who will be on hand to share fun facts about this brand new species. She’ll be joined in meet and greets by Blue the Velociraptor, Baby Tango, and Juliet the Triceratops, who currently reside full time at the park.

The park will also be adding a Spinosaurus photo op, as well as a scavenger hunt featuring, appropriately, the scavenger dinosaur procompsognathus to keep guests on their toes as they trek through the park. And, when you get hungry, you can stop off at Jurassic Cafe or Isla Nu-bar for some prehistoric delicacies, including The Jurassic Water Rebirth and Spicy Jurassic Pearadise. Exclusive merchandise will also be available at Jurassic Outfitters for the discerning paleontology enthusiast.

To top it all off, fans can catch Jurassic World Rebirth on the big screen at CityWalk’s Universal Cinema, where they’ll be greeted by a photo op of a full scale Quetzalcoatlus perched atop an ancient temple, as well as original costumes from the film, before settling in with themed drinks and exclusive popcorn buckets to enjoy the film.

Plenty of other Universal classics will be represented as well, including installations and meet and greet characters for Back to the Future, Wicked, and the live-action How to Train Your Dragon, which also hit theaters this summer alongside Rebirth, as well as characters and photo ops celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of Steven Spielberg’s Jaws

Universal Studios Hollywood’s Mega Movie Summer is running now through August 10.
