The Black Phone star and FANGORIA Chainsaw Award-winner Madeleine McGraw is set to star in SuperUnknown, a supernatural coming-of-age thriller written by Chris and Charlie Frazier and to be directed by The Brothers Riedell (A Nice Girl Like You, Camp Takota).
Per Deadline, who reported the news late yesterday, SuperUnknown is about a high schooler who discovers his parents have been harboring a supernatural creature. Subsequently, he and his bandmates must face off with the creature as it escapes and terrorizes their suburban town. No word yet on who McGraw is playing.
McGraw will also executive produce, with Scott MacLeod (Mending the Line) and Courtney Blythe Turk (Assassination Nation) producing.
The young star is also set to return to her role as Gwen Blake for Scott Derrickson's Black Phone 2, hitting theaters on October 17.
SuperUnknown is set to shoot in New Mexico this fall. Look out for updates as we get them.
