Lestat Is A Shirtless Rock God In New INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE Season 3 Images

Lestat de Lioncourt is back, baby, and he’s ready to rock. Entertainment Weekly just released new images from Season 3 of AMC’s Interview With the Vampire, which takes the focus off Jacob Anderson’s Louis and puts it firmly on Sam Reid as Lestat, who’s gone from hypnotized former lover to full-blown rockstar on a blood binge.

In both pictures, we get a good idea of Lestat’s new status as a rock god — including a shirtless shot that proves he’s taking in all the attention he can get. Both seem to be drawing heavily from the glam rock era of the 1970s, with Lestat looking like Marc Bolan if he’d gotten his hands on a bottle of bleach — much different than the nu metal influences of Queen of the Damned, the last film to adapt this portion of Lestat’s story.

Season 3 has only just begun filming, and adapts (appropriately) The Vampire Lestat, the second book in the late Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles series. It picks up directly where Season 2 left off, finishing up the titular book and spinning the lens onto Lestat, who is, for a lack of a better word, pissed at how he’s been portrayed by Louis in his tell-all book.

“It's deep, but it's actually very fun and silly because Lestat is a big clown, so he is not as chest-bearing as others,” Reid said to EW of the new season. “Well, he's actually quite chest-bearing. He's very chest-bearing, but in a different way! If he's unreliable, he's intentionally being unreliable as opposed to being potentially hoodwinked by a series of events. Lestat is slightly different [than Louis], I would say. They're both unreliable in their own way, but I don't think one is more or less than the other. One might be more intentional than the other.”

Interview With the Vampire Season 3 premieres on AMC sometime in 2026. Check out the new images below:
