Tencent Games' Level Infinite has unveiled its first VR game from developer KUKRGAME, the atmospheric survival horror Dread Meridian, available to Wishlist now on Steam and Meta Quest Store.
Built from the ground up for PC VR and Meta Quest 2, 3 and 3S, Dread Meridian dares players to explore a frozen wasteland of horrors to uncover on the island of Oglanbyen:
Play as Daniella, a researcher who travels to a remote island spiraling into madness in search of her lost twin sister. In this harrowing adventure, players will come face to face with unimaginable creatures, cryptic puzzles and dread-filled environments. Battle the way you want with intense VR combat and tactical decisions. It’ll be up to players to choose how to best utilize their limited resources and customizable weapons. When ammo is low, players can pull out their trusty knife and fight till their last breath.
Community testing on Dread Meridian is scheduled for later this year, so VR fans won't have to wait too long for more information, including regarding the team’s plans for a co-op PVE mode in the game.
