This month brings special treats to the best horror movies on Netflix. Halloween has come and gone, but we still have some heavy-hitting horror on the way at the streamer. First of all, you will be able to watch Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein in your own home, but there's nothing wrong with hitting up the cinema to watch it if it's available nearby. This is del Toro's return to horror with his signature gothic flair and his first film since 2022.
But there's more: Stranger Things‘ fifth and final season is due to be released later in the month. The streamer won't be dropping the entire season in one bingeable package, but you will get the first four episodes right around Thanksgiving, with the rest of the season to follow during the holiday season. Stranger Things fans have been waiting just as long as del Toro fans since the fourth season was also released three years ago.
The streamer is also releasing Barabulla, a supernatural tale set in Kashmir, and the final season of Jurassic Park: Chaos Theory this month as well.

Directed by Michael Chaves (The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, The Curse of La Llorona, and The Conjuring: Last Rites), the film continues the story of Sister Irene's fight against the deadly spirit.

Baramulla on November 7
BARAMULLA (Credit: Netflix) In this Kashmir-set tale of the supernatural, nestled deep within a beautiful valley lies the snow-covered, slow-paced city of Baramulla, where rumours and legends intertwine with reality. When a young boy mysteriously disappears, it sets off a chain of events that unravel unsettling truths and shake the town to its core. Into this charged atmosphere enters DSP Ridwaan Sayyed, a recently transferred Kashmiri Police officer tasked with investigating a case of missing children.
As he and his family move into a derelict house in town, he feels the weight of his past pressing down on him. Little does he know that his pursuit for the truth will become both a personal reckoning and a journey through secrets, where the real and supernatural collide, threatening the fragile peace within his family and the sensitive town.
Frankenstein (2025) on November 7th
FRANKENSTEIN (2025) (Credit: Netflix) Academy Award-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro's newest film, an adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus, will be released on November 7 exclusively on Netflix, after a theatrical release on October 17. This is the writer and director's first new film since 2022's Pinocchio and his return to gothic horror. This sumptuous and gloriously crafted adaptation of one of the foundational texts of horror is sure to bring terror and passionate emotion into your home.
It is, without a doubt, one of 2025's most anticipated films.
In it, a brilliant but egotistical scientist brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation. Oscar Isaac, Jacob Elordi, Mia Goth, Felix Kammerer, David Bradley, Lars Mikkelsen, Christian Convery, Charles Dance, and Christoph Waltz star in the film.
Zodiac on November 17
ZODIAC (Credit: IMDB) Director David Fincher's unnerving film of the hunt for the Zodiac Killer is based on the two non-fiction books by Robert Graysmith. A San Francisco cartoonist becomes an amateur detective obsessed with tracking down the Zodiac, an unidentified individual who terrorizes Northern California with a killing spree. The killer, who has never been apprehended, terrorized the populace and taunted the police and other authorities by mailing letters, bloodstained clothing, and ciphers to them and newspapers, daring them to catch him.
The film is a subtle yet terrifying film where you're not exactly sure if the killer is there until he makes his presence known. Fincher shows a masterful command of the real-life horror of the Zodiac killer that harkens back to his first serial killer movie, Seven. Jake Gyllenhaal, Mark Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr., Anthony Edwards, Brian Cox, Elias Koteas, Donal Logue, John Carroll Lynch, Chloë Sevigny, Philip Baker Hall, and Dermot Mulroney star in this disturbing film.
