Winner of Scariest Feature Film at this year's Overlook Film Festival, bizarre Japanese horror Best Wishes to All hits Shudder on the appropriately spooky date of Friday, 13 June.
Directed by Yûta Shimotsu in his feature debut, Best Wishes to All stars Kotone Furukawa (Kiyoshi Kurosawa's Cloud) as a young woman who visits her grandparents' home in the countryside, leading to the discovery of what’s brought them happiness, a revelation that will lead her to question her choices, sanity and reality itself.
Best Wishes to All was executive produced by Japanese horror master Takashi Shimizu (Ju-On, Suicide Forest Village), with reviews calling it a “frightening generational chiller” and marking Shimotsu as “an exciting new name in the Japanese horror landscape, and one to keep a close eye on.”
