Brandon Cronenberg's bizarre 2012 body horror Antiviral is coming to 4K UHD for the first time ever from Severin Films this Black Friday.
Supervised by Cronenberg (who, if you couldn't tell by the name, is the son of legendary filmmaker David Cronenberg) and cinematographer Karim Hussain (Infinity Pool), the 3-disc collection includes the Cannes cut, which features an additional six minutes of footage cut by Cronenberg after the festival.
Cronenberg's debut, Antiviral stars Caleb Landry Jones as Syd March, a sickly employee of a company that harvests the viruses of celebrities for customers who want to feel closer to them. The legendary Malcolm McDowell and Sarah Gadon co-star.
