Fancy watching Eli Roth's icky and sticky 2002 directorial debut Cabin Fever at the actual camp it was filmed? Thanks to Myers House's On Set Cinema, you can do so for the very first time ever this May.
During the event from Saturday, May 17th – Sunday, May 18th in Mount Airy, North Carolina, fans will be able to watch a very special outdoor screening of Cabin Fever at the actual former boy scout camp it was filmed in, as well as explore the cabin that college students Jeff (Joey Kern), Marcy (Cerina Vincent), Paul (Rider Strong), Karen (Jordan Ladd) and Bert (James DeBello) rent for a vacation getaway in the woods.
The camp in question is also where the group roasts marshmallows and tells scary stories around a campfire, where we meet Grim and Dr. Mambo, where Henry The Hermit gets set on fire, where Karen rots away in the quarantine shack, where Marcy gets eaten by a wild dog, where Jeff gets blown away by cops after nearly surviving, among many other scenes.
Actor Tim Parati (The Walking Dead, A Time to Kill, The Crow), who played Andy in Cabin Fever will be a special guest at the event, returning to the camp for the first time since filming took place in 2001. He'll be signing autographs, taking photos with fans and doing a Q&A.
