Frendo’s Going On Tour To Promote CLOWN IN A CORNFIELD

He might be slashing his way to a town near you.

After having made appearances at numerous festivals and conventions across the country, Frendo’s taking his killer show on the road to promote Clown in a Cornfield. Shudder has announced that the deadly clown will be hitting the highways of America in a two-week cross-country semi-truck tour to get the word out about the film based on Adam Cesare’s novel. 

Frendo will be making appearances in eleven cities across the country, and is “expected to terrorize anyone who gets in his way at iconic landmarks, special screenings and events across the country.” Fans can track his whereabouts by following Shudder (@Shudder) and the film (@Clown_in_a_Cornfield) on social media, and anyone brave enough to find the truck or spot one of the film’s “Don’t F**k With Frendo” posters and post them with the hashtag #IFoundFrendo will be entered to win a special prize pack.

  • April 28: Atlanta, Georgia at Truist Park
  • April 29: Dallas, Texas at Reunion Arena Tower
  • April 30: Roswell, New Mexico at the International UFO Museum and Research Center
  • May 1: Grand Canyon, Arizona at The Grand Canyon
  • May 2: Las Vegas, Nevada. at the Westwind Drive-in
  • May 4: Pomona, California at the Los Angeles County Fair
  • May 5: Los Angeles, California at Brain Dead Studios
  • May 7: Tonopah, Nevada at The Clown Motel
  • May 8: Denver, Colorado at the Red Rocks Amphitheater
  • May 9: Kansas City, Missouri at an AMC Theater TBD
  • May 10: Nashville, Tennessee, Location TBD

Directed by Eli Craig, who wrote the film’s script with Carter Blanchard based on Cesare’s novel, Clown in a Cornfield stars Katie Douglas, Carson MacCormac, Aaron Abrams, Will Sasso, and Kevin Durand. The film’s logline is as follows: 

Quinn and her father have just moved to the quiet town of Kettle Springs hoping for a fresh start. Instead, she discovers a fractured community that has fallen on hard times after the treasured Baypen Corn Syrup Factory burned down. As the locals bicker amongst themselves and tensions boil over, a sinister, grinning figure emerges from the cornfields to cleanse the town of its burdens, one bloody victim at a time. Welcome to Kettle Springs. The real fun starts when Frendo the clown comes out to play.
