COMPANION: Watch The New Trailer For Sci-Fi Thriller Starring Sophie Thatcher

Drew Hancock's twisted love story is produced by the team behind BARBARIAN.
COMPANION - Warner Bros.

Following up his 2022 instant horror classic Barbarian, Zach Cregger is back as producer on Companion, a “new kind of love story” from writer/director Drew Hancock (My Dead Ex, Suburgatory).

Starring Sophie Thatcher (Yellowjackets, the upcoming Heretic) and Jack Quaid (Scream, The Boys), details on Companion are scarce for the moment, except for being described as a ‘science fiction thriller'.

The mysterious teaser trailer released today from Warner Bros. doesn't give away too much (as all good teasers should), but it looks like we're in for a twisted, bloody and violent love story – the best kind!

A previous report from The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Thatcher will be playing the “titular” role (aka the Companion), and that there’s “more than meets the eye” with this particular character. Consider our interest well and truly piqued!

Alongside, Thatcher and Quaid, Companion stars Lukas Gage (Smile 2, Dead Boy Detectives), Megan Suri (Never Have I Ever, It Lives Inside), Harvey Guillén (What We Do in the Shadows, Blue Beetle) and Rupert Friend (High Desert, Asteroid City).

Alongside Cregger, Companion is produced by fellow Barbarian alum Raphael Margules, J.D. Lifshitz and Roy Lee. The executive producers are Tracy Rosenblum and Jamie Buckner.
