EVIL DEAD BURN Adds Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan And Tandi Wright

Sébastien Vaniček's Deadite nightmare is set for release on July 24, 2026.
Hunter Doohan in WEDNESDAY

Sébastien Vaniček's Evil Dead Burn has added Hunter Doohan (Wednesday), Luciane Buchanan (The Night Agent), and Tandi Wright (Pearl), Deadline reports today.

The three will join previously-announced star Souheila Yacoub (Dune: Part Two) in the latest standalone entry into the Evil Dead series, currently scheduled for release on July 24, 2026 via Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema.

Plot details for Evil Dead Burn are still under wraps, but according to Vaniček (who helmed last year's arachnid attack movie Infested) we're in for “a nasty film, a film that hurts, from which you come away tested.”

Produced by Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert’s Ghost House Pictures, Evil Dead Burn will be the fifth entry in the Evil Dead franchise following Fedé Alvarez's 2013 Evil Dead remake and Lee Cronin‘s Evil Dead Rise. Cronin will executive produce, alongside original Evil Dead final boy Bruce Campbell, Romel Adam and Jose Canas.

Aside from Evil Dead Burn, we also have another as-of-now-untitled Evil Dead movie in the works from Last Stop in Yuma County‘s Francis Galluppi, which Ghost House are also producing, in line with Raimi's decision to handpick directors to helm standalone entries into the series he created back in 1981.

Look out for more on Evil Dead Burn as we get it.
