Production has officially kicked off on Evil Dead Burn, the latest standalone entry into the Evil Dead series, currently scheduled for release on July 24, 2026 via Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema.
Directed by Sébastien Vaniček (Infested), Evil Dead Burn stars Souheila Yacoub (Dune: Part Two), Hunter Doohan (Wednesday), Luciane Buchanan (The Night Agent), and Tandi Wright (Pearl). Plot details are still under wraps, but Evil Dead Burn will apparently be “a nasty film, a film that hurts, from which you come away tested.”
Produced by Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert’s Ghost House Pictures, Evil Dead Burn will be the fifth entry in the Evil Dead franchise following Fedé Alvarez's 2013 Evil Dead remake and Lee Cronin‘s Evil Dead Rise. Cronin will executive produce, alongside original Evil Dead final boy Bruce Campbell, Romel Adam and Jose Canas.
Deadite fans are feasting right now: aside from Evil Dead Burn, we also have another as-of-now-untitled Evil Dead movie in the works from Last Stop in Yuma County‘s Francis Galluppi, which Ghost House is also producing, in line with Raimi's decision to handpick directors to helm standalone entries into the series he created back in 1981.
