EC Comics, Oni Press and William M. Gaines Agent, Inc. are set to unleash THE SUMMER OF FEAR with three pleasurably punishing new series, two of which we're excited to bring you an exclusive first look at today.
The sinister summer kicks off with June's Blood Type #1 by Hugo Award nominee Corinna Bechko and Eisner Award winner Andrea Sorrentino, followed by July's Catacomb of Torment #1 by John Arcudi, Marguerite Bennett, Dan McDaid, Matt Kindt and David Lapham, and seeing out the sweltering months with August's Cruel Universe 2 #1 by J. Holtham, Kano, Ann Nocenti, David Rubín and Greg Smallwood.
In monthly horror anthology Catacomb of Torment, master storytellers John Arcudi (B.P.R.D.), Matt Kindt (BRZRKR) & David Lapham (Stray Bullets), and Marguerite Bennett (Batwoman) & Dan McDaid (Shazam!) each take turns manning the rack and turning the red-hot irons for three all-new and blisteringly brutal tales of mayhem and malice in the undying EC tradition.

The series follows bloodsucker Ada, who made her first appearance in last fall’s Epitaphs from the Abyss #3, making her the first character to claw her way out of an iconic EC Comics short story and into her own standalone, serialized horror series:
