Lucy Hale Plays A Deadly Game Of F MARRY KILL In New Trailer

The film hits theaters and VOD on December 6.

As if we’ve not heard enough about dating apps in this day and age, they’re now making their way into horror movies too. Lionsgate has just debuted the trailer for their new black comedy F Marry Kill, about a young woman who finds herself dragged into the world of online dating, only to find herself embroiled in one of the true-crime cases she loves so much.

The film features Pretty Little Liars alum Lucy Hale at the center of it all, one of many naive young women who thinks true crime is all fun and games and podcast white noise until she finds herself right in the middle of it. The film’s full synopsis is as follows:

When true-crime junkie Eva Vaugh (Lucy Hale) is shoved into the dating app world by her besties on her 30th birthday, she suddenly finds herself at the center of a real-life murder case. As new details about the murders are revealed on her favorite podcast, she realizes that one of the three men she’s dating could be the infamous “Swipe Right Killer” terrorizing the city! Now it’s up to Eva and her ride-or-die friends to figure out which date is a f***boy, a potential husband, or a killer in this whip-smart comedy-thriller.

The film also stars Samer Salem, Virginia Gardner, Jedidiah Goodacre, Brendan Morgan, Brooke Nevin, and Bethany Brown, and comes from director Laura Murphy, who makes her feature film directorial debut after an extended stint in TV. Hale, on the other hand, makes a return to thrillers with F Marry Kill, after a long run in the popular Pretty Little Liars series, as well as films like Truth or Dare, Fantasy Island, and last year’s Inside Man.

F Marry Kill premieres in theaters and on digital on December 6. Check out the new trailer below:
