Universal Studios is ramping up for its annual Halloween Horror Nights event on both coasts, and they’ve just announced some major news for this year’s celebrations. Both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Orlando will be home to a Fallout haunted house, based on both the hit series and the popular video game franchise it was adapted from.

Opening on August 29 in Orlando and September 4 in Hollywood, the first haunted house to be announced for this year’s Horror Nights will recreate some of audiences’ favorite moments from the Prime Video series, which stars Ella Purnell and Walton Goggins. Ahead of Season 2’s premiere this December, fans will be able to spot Purnell’s Vault dweller Lucy MacLean, as well as Goggins’ fan-favorite Ghoul and Maximus.

The house will allow Horror Nights attendees to follow along with vault dwellers as they escape a massacre inside their vault — built to protect a select few from nuclear war, only to hold even darker secrets within. Exiting onto the war-torn wasteland, fans will then be able to battle against raiders and radroaches as they experience iconic set pieces from the series, including Super Duper Mart and the T-60 power armor, before exiting through the gift shop, naturally, to purchase exclusive Fallout-themed merch.

The Halloween Horror Nights news comes just after the recent opening of Epic Universe, Universal Studios Orlando’s third park, which will offer experiences for horror fans year round, as opposed to just at Halloween. The new park’s Dark Universe features not only walkaround versions of your favorite Universal Monsters like the Bride of Frankenstein and the Invisible Man, but also two rides inspired by Frankenstein and The Wolf Man, as well as an experience where guests can, in a fun twist of fate, become monsters themselves.

Universal also recently announced the opening of their Universal Horror Unleashed experience in Las Vegas, another year-round scare factory more similar to the set-up of Halloween Horror Nights. The immersive experience will feature four scare zones, as well as four haunted houses: The Exorcist: Believer, Universal Monsters, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and the original Scarecrow: The Reaping.

Halloween Horror Nights runs on select nights from August 29 to November 2 in Florida, and from September 4 to November 2 in Hollywood.
