As we approach prom season for all the high schoolers in your life, Netflix is taking us back to Fear Street for a new look at the latest film in the horror franchise that took over the streamer several summers ago. As a part of their 2025 slate announcement, the streamer has released several new images from Fear Street: Prom Queen, featuring its ensemble cast fighting yet another masked killer.

We only get a good look at them from behind, but Prom Queen’s slasher is draped all in red vinyl, a seemingly poor choice for a serial killing spree. But that doesn’t stop him from taking a swing at the teen cats of the film, or stalking them through high school hallways til they have nowhere left to turn.

The latest entry into the Fear Street series, which follows the three films released back to back in 2021, is directed by Matt Palmer and based on the R.L. Stine book of the same name. The film’s synopsis is as follows:

Welcome back to Shadyside. In this next installment of the blood-soaked Fear Street franchise, prom season at Shadyside High is underway and the school’s wolfpack of It Girls is busy with its usual sweet and vicious campaigns for the crown. But when a gutsy outsider is unexpectedly nominated to the court, and the other girls start mysteriously disappearing, the class of ’88 is suddenly in for one hell of a prom night.

The new film features a massive ensemble cast, which includes the likes of India Fowler, Suzanna Son, Fina Strazza, Chris Klein, David Iacono, Ella Rubin, Ariana Greenblatt, Lily Taylor, Katherine Waterson, Darrin Baker, Rebecca Ablack, Ilan O’Driscoll, Damian Romeo, Dakota Taylor, Eden Summer Gilmore, Brennan Clost, and Cecilia Lee.

Fear Street: Prom Queen arrives on Netflix sometime this summer. Check out the new images below:
