Do you want to be among the first to see Five Nights at Freddy's 2 long before the animatronic horror hits theaters on December 5, 2025? Of course you do, you're only human.
In celebration of Blumhouse and AMC's Blumfest, the iconic studio are giving a pair of Freddy's fans a chance to attend the World Premiere of Emma Tammi's sequel to the smash hit horror with an all-new sweepstakes.
Entrants must be subscribed to the Blumhouse newsletter The Van, and the giveaway will run until October 31. More details to follow once you've subscribed to the newsletter.
If you're not caught up on the Blumfest festivities, let us remind you – the festival kicked off on September 25 in 150 AMC locations, screening beloved Blumhouse classics. The rest of October looks like this:
- Wednesday, October 2, 2024 – Lights Out
- Wednesday, October 9, 2024 – Insidious: Chapter 2
- Wednesday, October 16, 2024 – Happy Death Day
- Wednesday, October 23, 2024 – The Black Phone
- Wednesday, October 30, 2024 – Five Nights At Freddy’s
As for Five Nights at Freddy's 2, a sequel was pretty much greenlit seconds after it racked up $297 million globally and subsequently became Blumhouse’s highest-grossing film of all time. Starring Josh Hutcherson and scream king Matthew Lillard, the movie (based on the indie horror game hit by Scott Cawthon) followed a security guard working the night shift at an abandoned pizza parlour full of murderous animatronics, created by Jim Henson’s Creature Workshop.
What direction Tammi and co. will take the sequel in remains a mystery. The gargantuan franchise has more than enough plot and lore to play with, so it's really anyone's guess. We do know that Jim Henson’s Creature Shop is returning to craft the creeps, AND that Cawthon previously shared one page of the screenplay. The only catch? He also shared three fake ones for fans to dissect and decipher.
