Following a series of leaks over the weekend, the official Fortnite Twitter/X account has seemingly confirmed that, yes, Godzilla will be joining for Chapter 6 of the gargantuan battle royale game.
Launching on December 1, the latest Fortnite chapter will feature a Japanese-themed island, with samurai heroes and ninja warriors joining the kaiju king, as well as Big Hero 6‘s Baymax.
Released in 2017, Fortnite has quickly become one of the biggest games of all time, grossing approximately $9 billion in revenue as reported just in 2019.
The Godzilla skin joins other genre icons like Saw‘s Billy the Puppet and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre‘s Leatherface, who have also been immortalized in Fortnite form.
