GODZILLA MINUS ONE

You can't keep a good kaiju down, it seems, as Takashi Yamazaki's Oscar-winning epic Godzilla Minus One is returning to AMC Theatres once again in November – this time with 13 minutes of exclusive bonus content.

Godzilla Minus One‘s rerelease comes as part of the Godzilla franchise's anniversary celebrations, marking 70 years since Ishirō Honda's 1954 original Godzilla first hit screens.

Starring Ryunosuke Kamiki, Sakura Ando, Minami Hamabe and Hidetaka Noshioda, Godzilla Minus One took the series back to its World War II roots, following a failed kamikaze pilot and a group of civilians trying to defend a ravaged Japan from the radiation-breathing king of the monsters.

Need we remind you: following its December 2023 release, Godzilla Minus One made a massive $107 million worldwide, including nearly $57 million in North America alone. The movie was originally supposed to play for just a week in the States but due to sheer demand and strong word of mouth, Toho decided to screen the film for months longer.

A release of the monochromatic cut, Godzilla Minus One/Minus Color, was also in theaters, as well as being available to watch on Netflix as of this July.

Other celebrations for the birthday boy happening out there include UNIQLO's special launch of limited edition t-shirt designs, and a ton of reprinted comic books that seehttps://www.polygon.com/deals/459851/godzilla-marvel-comics-books-encyclopedia Gojira take on members of the Marvel superhero canon.
