Indy The GOOD BOY Teases The Performance Of The Year In New Trailer

The dog POV horror hits theaters on October 3.

Supernatural horror thriller Good Boy gets a new trailer today that introduces us to star and titular pup Indy, who looks set to give the horror performance of the year.

In Ben Leonberg's directorial debut, Indy stars as a dog (obviously) who, along with his owner Todd, has left city life for a long-vacant family home in the country:

From the start, two things are abundantly clear: Indy is wary of the creepy old house, and his affection for Todd is unwavering. After moving in, Indy is immediately vexed by empty corners, tracks an invisible presence only he can see, perceives phantasmagoric warnings from a long-dead dog, and is haunted by visions of the previous occupant’s grim death. When Todd begins succumbing to the dark forces swirling around the house, Indy must battle a malevolence intent on dragging his beloved Todd into the afterlife.

Also starring alongside the adorable retriever in his feature debut are horror legend Larry Fessenden, Shane Jensen and Arielle Friedman.

Back in May, Shudder and Independent Film Company officially acquired distribution rights for Good Boy for the U.S, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand following its sold-out SXSW premiere.

Good Boy hits theaters on October 3. Check out the new trailer below and, again, if anything bad happens to Indy, we're going to war:
