While Michael Myers is easily the centerpiece of IllFonic’s upcoming Halloween: The Game, the folks behind the new adventure aren’t leaving out any other fan-favorites. They’ve just announced that a number of iconic characters from John Carpenter’s film will make an appearance in the game when it hits shelves this fall, including everyone’s favorite final girl.
While the game focuses on telling the story of Halloween from the perspective of Michael Myers in its single player story mode, IllFonic revealed that Laurie Strode, Bob Simms, Annie Brackett, and Lynda van der Klok will all make appearances as integral pieces of the game. They’ll appear both as interactive appearances in single player, inspired by scenes from the film, as well as playable Civilians in Halloween’s multiplayer mode.
They'll be joined by six other playable Civilians when the game launches in September, including Jennifer, Tanya, Rachel, Eric, Marcus, and Thomas. Each character comes with a default outfit, but through completing challenges in story mode, players can obtain new outfits and cosmetic items that allow you to customize each beloved teen as you see fit.

But don’t expect Laurie or her friends to look and sound exactly as you remember them. Halloween: The Game reimagines each character with new designs and voices, with Nicholas Leung (Bob), Angela Carbone (Lynda), Kaitlyn Robrock (Annie), and Chelsea Krause (Laurie) lending their voices to each character.
“We aren't just adapting a widely adored movie; we’re building an entire world around it,” says Halloween’s art director Cole Gray. “To do justice to this classic, everything and everyone within it had to feel like they belonged together. Reimagining these characters from the ground up allowed us to seamlessly weave them into a fresh, cohesive landscape that respects the era while presenting new ideas and honoring the film’s roots.”
Halloween: The Game launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on September 8.
