Fresh out of today's State of Play, Mundfish Powerhouse and Team Clout have unveiled a completely disgusting (complimentary) new trailer for first person action horror game ILL. Watch it below, at your peril:

The first title under the Mundfish Powerhouse label and a debut project from Team Clout studio, with other team members bringing extensive industry experience from working on major horror projects like Until Dawn, Longlegs and IT: Welcome to DerryILL looks like Resident Evil on crack, and again, we very much mean that as a good thing.

The game takes players into a dark fort overtaken by a mysterious entity, where “upredictable monsters (known as Aberrations), a visceral dismemberment system, and realistic physics create an atmosphere of relentless terror.” Yep, we can see that.

In a new update, the ILL team share more of their goals for the game that's about to traumatize a whole new generation of gamers:

Beyond the brutality, our focus is immersion. We want moments to feel frightening, but also human. Characters aren’t just obstacles, they are three-dimensional people with motivations and personal stories that deepen the experience. Similarly, the locations in ILL are spaces designed to feel real, like you’re actually navigating them in person. We’re creating an environment that makes the player’s imagination work against them.

ILL doesn't yet have a specific release date, but is available to wishlist now for its 2027 debut.
