As Dale Cooper declared 36 years ago upon entering the mysterious town of Twin Peaks, today is Twin Peaks day, and to celebrate, Alamo Drafthouse has announced IN DREAMS: Films of David Lynch, a month-long retrospective of the works of the singular, transcendent filmmaker who sadly left us earlier this year.
The four-week-long retrospective, launching on Friday, March 7th at select Alamo Drafthouse locations, includes screenings of almost all of Lynch's feature films, including his 1977 debut Eraserhead, 1980's biographical drama The Elephant Man, 1984's sci-fi epicDune, the disturbing 1986 crime thriller Blue Velvet, 1990's wild love storyWild at Heart, psychological prequel Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me from 1992, 1997 neo-noir masterpiece Lost Highway and his 2001 surrealist odyssey Mulholland Drive.
