Jurassic World Rebirth is this year’s Fourth of July blockbuster, replacing the usual aliens with dinos (but somehow not getting rid of Jeff Goldblum?), and to celebrate, there’s plenty of merch available for eager viewers. Ahead of the film’s long weekend release tomorrow, several new merch drops are now available for various retailers for the discerning collector, whether you’re into popcorn buckets or pins or anything else.
Alamo Drafthouse is releasing a new line of Rebirth-themed collectibles, featuring a gold-plated charm necklace sporting the franchise’ iconic T-rex skeleton logo, retailing for $25 USD; a pint glass featuring the film’s logo and its three central dinosaurs, retailing for $20 USD; and an enamel pin set featuring name plates for titanosaurus, mosasaurus, and quetzalcoatlus. All three items are available for purchase now on Alam Drafthouse’s merch website.
Mutant, meanwhile, is bringing the film’s score to life on one of their signature colored vinyl releases. Composed by Alexandre Desplat — who took over scoring the franchise from the legendary John Williams — the score will be available both as a double CD and as a gatefold vinyl, featuring mosasaurus on the cover and two discs pressed in teal and gold.
“John Williams wrote a fantastic melody for Jurassic Park that I now get to reinvent, rejigger and resculpt in ways benefit our movie,” Desplat says. “My desire was not to bluntly quote John’s score but subtly echo it or make use of it in the original score I have written for the film in playful and meaningful ways.” Both the CD and Mutant exclusive vinyl are available for pre-order now on Mutant’s website, retailing for $20 USD and $40 USD respectively.
And, in addition to their dino incubator popcorn bucket, Regal Cinemas has also unveiled even more themed food receptacles for the film’s opening. When fans see the films at a Regal theater, they can purchase the “Carnivore Combo,” which comes with a drink topper featuring either titanosaurus, mosasaurus, or quetzalcoatlus, as well as a unique red and black popcorn bucket featuring the film’s logo and a roaring T-rex.
Jurassic World Rebirth hits theaters on July 3.
