A Romantic Cabin Getaway Goes Horribly Wrong In New KEEPER Teaser

Osgood Perkins' latest dark trip hits theaters on November 14.

Keeper, the upcoming “dark trip” from Longlegs and The Monkey director Osgood ‘Oz' Perkins, hits theaters on November 14, with NEON dropping a brand new teaser trailer that fleshes out the scares somewhat but (thankfully) still keeps things mostly mysterious.

Keeper reunites Perkins with The Monkey star Tatiana Maslany, and also stars Possessor‘s Rossif Sutherland. Written by Nick Lepard (Dangerous Animals), the pic follows a couple as they escape for a romantic anniversary weekend at a secluded cabin:

When Malcolm (Sutherland) suddenly returns to the city, Liz (Maslany) finds herself isolated and in the presence of an unspeakable evil that unveils the cabin’s horrifying secrets.

In a previous interview, Perkins and Maslany hinted as some of the “disgusting” themes that Keeper will explore, and today's new trailer definitely seems to make good on that tease…

Keeper sees Perkins back with NEON as part of his first-look deal with the genre giant, having launched a new banner, Phobos,  alongside Chris Ferguson. Under the deal, NEON will serve as the home for Perkins’ projects, which he and Ferguson will produce. It will also allow Perkins and Ferguson to produce other filmmakers’ movies for NEON, who will release these projects theatrically in the United States and represent international rights.

NEON continue their mean streak of horror hits with Michael Shanks' Alison Brie and Dave Franco-starring Together recently bonding with the box office, and the much-anticipated Shelby Oaks from YouTuber Chris Stuckmann having its U.S. Premiere at Fantastic Fest later this year.
