For those of you who want to upgrade your physical media collection with one of the best films of the year, Witter Entertainment has just the product for you: they’ve just opened a pre-order for a VHS version of Shudder’s Late Night With the Devil, starring David Dastmalchian, bringing the feature to a “first of its kind” format.

The film will be released in two special formats: first, a traditional VHS tape featuring its standard poster art by Creepy Duck Design, available while supplies last, and a limited edition glow in the dark tape, with a gatefold box that features an alternate poster on the front and a fake magazine cover featuring Jack Delroy, designed by Percival & Associates, on the inside. The glow in the dark edition is strictly limited to a hundred and fifty copies, and a handful of special orange glow in the dark tapes (as opposed to the standard green) will be dispersed in those hundred and fifty as variants.

Cropped from its original aspect ratio to fit the ideal 4:3 VHS viewing ratio, pre-orders for the tape are expected to ship in late December and early January, and are strictly limited to one of each variant per customer.

The satanic panic tale about a late night host who finds his world slipping out from under him — literally, in some cases — was a massive hit when it premiered in theaters and on Shudder earlier this year. Also starring Laura Gordon, Ian Bliss, Fayssal Bazzi, and Ingrid Torelli, the film is directed by Colin and Cameron Cairnes, and is one of numerous hit horror films to come from Shudder this year, including In a Violent Nature, Oddity, and Azrael

Late Night With the Devil is available to stream on Shudder now, and you can pre-order both VHS variants through Witter Entertainment’s website. Check out both variants of the release below:
