Lauren LaVera (Terrifier 3) and Djimon Hounsou (A Quiet Place: Day One) star in Twisted, the new horror thriller from Saw II, III and IV director Darren Lynn Bousman which gets its first teaser trailer today ahead of hitting Digital on February 6 via Republic Pictures
Previously known as The Monster, the R-Rated Twisted follows two millennials who make quick money by leasing incredible New York City apartments they don’t own to people who don’t know they are being scammed. The con works brilliantly until they run into an apartment owner with a dark secret who flips the game on them.
Saw‘s Mark Burg produces Twisted via Twisted Pictures, with a script written by Jonathan Bernstein and James Greer (Steven Soderbergh’s Unsane). Also starring are Alicia Witt (Longlegs), Mia Healey (The Wilds), Gina Philips (Jeepers Creepers), rapper Prof aka Jacob Lukas Anderson and Neal McDonough (Minority Report).
