Letterboxd has officially announced the launch of Letterboxd Video Store, a brand new digital rental platform inside every cinephile's favorite app, bringing with it a chance to see one of 2025's buzziest horror movies from December 10.

As part of Letterboxd Video Store's inaugural Unreleased Gems collection, which Letterboxd describes as “discoveries that select audiences have been raving about, but most of us haven’t had the opportunity to watch”, horror fans will be able to catch Alexander Ullom's It Ends, which has had film festival attendees (including at Telluride Horror Show, Overlook Film Festival, the UK's Celluloid Screams and many more) raving since its premiere at SXSW earlier this year.

Starring Phinehas Yoon, Akira Jackson, Noah Toth and Mitchell Cole, It Ends follows a group of friends who, on a late-night food run, become trapped on an infinite highway with otherworldly terrors lurking beyond. Confined in their Jeep Cherokee, they must decide whether to accept their fate or attempt escape.

What makes It Ends extra impressive is that Ullom and co. started making the film at just 22 years old, making it one of the first horror movies for Gen Z, by Gen Z. That's not at all to say us oldies can't enjoy it though, as made evident by It Endscurrent 100% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Per Letterboxd, regions and prices for the rental experience will vary by title, and It Ends will be available in the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Canada, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, Austria, Iceland, Greece and Cyprus. Films will be available on the platform for a limited time, from December 10 through January 9 (ET), so set your watchlists accordingly – trust us when we say It Ends is not one you want to miss.
