Following its acquisition by Shudder and RLJE Films, Spider One's upcoming horror Little Bites gets a brand new trailer today ahead of its October 4 theatrical and digital release date.

Starring Krsy Fox (Allegoria), Elizabeth Phoenix Caro and Jon Sklaroff, the R-Rated Little Bites follows:

[…] Mindy, a young widow and mother, who desperately tries to protect her daughter Alice from the grips of a fiendish, flesh eating monster named Agyar. Mindy has been secretly sacrificing her own life by allowing the creature to slowly feast on her body as she keeps Alice hidden away at her grandmother’s home.

Executive produced by Cher, Little Bites also stars a whole host of horror icons including FANGORIA fave Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator, Jakob’s Wife), final girl Heather Langenkamp (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Bonnie Aarons (The Nun, also Jakob’s Wife) and American Horror Story‘s Chaz Bono (who will also executive produce.)

Little Bites receives its World Premiere at Fantastic Fest next week, before hitting theaters and streamers just in time for Halloween season.

Alongside Cher and Bono, executive producers include Tyler Connolly, Ian Hoge, and Wendy Berry.

If today's new trailer is anything to go by, Little Bites is gonna go hard on the goop, gore and glorious FX, and we get a good look at the monstrous Agyar in all its glory.

Krsy Fox confirms as much, saying:

“I have never had a role that affected me this emotionally. I really fell into the character of Mindy and the darkness she was fighting. Looking back on this experience, I will never forget the talent of the actors I got to work with and the true love the cast and crew had for each other on this set. Also, be prepared because I look like hell, and the screaming, crying, and snot’s all real. Mindy was by far the most relatable and sad character I’ve portrayed, yet this was the most fun I’ve ever had shooting a film. You will definitely be seeing the extreme gore and our monster Agyar in your nightmares for years to come.”

If you're heading to Fantastic Fest, make sure you catch the World Premiere of Little Bites, and if you're not, get October 4 in your diary for one of the year's most anticipated new horror movies.
