Thought you'd escaped the clutches of Longlegs? Luckily, if you missed Osgood Perkins' terrifying serial killer thriller in theaters, you can catch it on the big screen just in time for Halloween, plus an exclusive sneak peek of Perkins' highly-anticipated The Monkey.
NEON are bringing Longlegs to select theaters nationwide from October 23 all the way through to October 31, so you can usher in the spookiest season by watching Nicolas Cage in maybe his most frightening performance ever.
Heralded by many as the scariest movie of this year, Longlegs stars Cage as the titular serial killer and Maika Monroe as FBI Agent Lee Harker, tasked with taking him down and ending his bizarre, supernaturally-tinged reign of terror. Alicia Witt, Blair Underwoodhttps://www-c3b06.bigscoots-temp.com/longlegs-blair-underwood-interview/ and Kiernan Shipka also star.
The film has the honor of being NEON's highest-grossing film to date, as well as 2024's best performing independent film.
Checking out Longlegs in theaters will also get you a brand new look at Perkins' The Monkey, before the Stephen King adaptation hits theaters on February 21, 2025.
Produced by James Wan and starring Theo James, The Monkey is based by a short from King's collection Skeleton Crew:
In The Monkey, when twin brothers Hal and Bill discover their father’s old monkey toy in the attic, a series of gruesome deaths starts occurring all around them. The brothers decide to throw the monkey away and move on with their lives, growing apart over the years.
But when the mysterious deaths begin again, the brothers must reunite to find a way to destroy the monkey for good before it takes the lives of everyone close to them.
Keep an eye on your local theater listings for Longlegs showings, and don't forget to say your prayers.
