Ever since she danced onto our screens back in 2022, we've been dying for more M3GAN. With her sequel, M3GAN 2.0, hitting screens in 2025, Vanity Fair have blessed us with a behind-the-scenes sneak peek at the tiny terror.
M3GAN 2.0 is set to hit theaters on June 27, 2025 via Universal Pictures, who clearly learned their lesson after realizing that a January release date was not going to stop M3GAN from racking up a huge $181 million worldwide off its $12 million budget.
Returning to the sequel are stars Allison Williams and Violet McGraw, with Ivanna Sakhno, Timm Sharp, Aristotle Athari and Jemaine Clement joining the fun this time around.
Director Gerard Johnstone will return as director, and Akela Cooper will return to bless the script with her signature blend of camp and horror. James Wan's Atomic Monster and Jason Blum's Blumhouse are also back as producers.
Aside from M3GAN 2.0, we've also got the spin-off SOULM8TE fromYou Are Not My Mother director Kate Dolan to look forward to as well:
In SOULM8TE, a man acquires an Artificially Intelligent android to cope with the loss of his recently deceased wife. In an attempt to create a truly sentient partner, he inadvertently turns a harmless lovebot into a deadly soulmate.
Today's BTS shot from Vanity Fair (seen below) doesn't reveal anything about the story, just star McGraw and the film’s lead puppeteer, Adrien Morot, reuniting with Miss M3GAN who is fully restored to her former glory, iconic little bowtie and all.
