Mike Flanagan’s HUSH Is Finally Making Its Way To Theaters

The 2016 slasher will play nationwide with Q&A from Mike Flanagan and Kate Siegel.

First a digital release, a stacked 4K physical media release and now a theatrical release – the long-awaited and well-deserved renaissance of Mike Flanagan's Hush is officially upon us.

Shout! Studios, in collaboration with Flanagan, Trevor Macy’s Intrepid Pictures, and Blumhouse are bringing the Flanagan-approved restoration to theaters across the nation starting on October 16, plus a livestream Q&A from Flanagan and star and co-writer Kate Siegel.

If you're lucky enough to live in Los Angeles, you can catch the live Q&A at the iconic Vidiots theater on opening night.

Released in 2016 after a SXSW premiere, Hush was previously only available to watch on Netflix, before leaving the platform in 2023. The slasher, which also stars John Gallagher Jr., centers on:

A deaf writer who has retreated into the woods to live a solitary life. She must fight for her life in silence when a masked killer appears at her window.

The year of Hush continued earlier this month at Beyond Fest, who hosted the World Premiere of the brand new, never-before-seen ‘Shush Cut’ of Hush with Flanagan and Siegel in person.

Keep an eye out for Hush playing in theaters near you!
