Learn More About Your Favorite Titans In MONSTERVERSE DECLASSIFIED Graphic Novel

The new anthology is available now.

With the next film in the Monsterverse now in production, Legendary Comics is releasing a new graphic novel set to tie the whole killer universe together. They’ve just announced Monsterverse Declassified, a new anthology that gives us a better look at the titanic monsters we all know and love — and some we aren’t so familiar with.

The new anthology uncovers the origins of the iconic Titans, told through declassified Project Monarch files, and includes new stories about “Abaddon, the eight-legged nightmare that may be the ancestor of all arachnids, Behemoth, the colossal guardian of Earth’s most fragile biomes, Tiamat, whose influences spans ancient myth and modern science, and fan-favorite Titanus Doug, the smallest Titan with the biggest heart.”

The anthology features stories by Greg Keyes, David M. Booher, Daniel J. Park, and Rosie Knight, with art by David Ferracci, Drew Zucker, Marco Roblin, and Oliver Ono, and colors by Rebecca Good and Vittorio Astone. Lettering is courtesy of Comicraft.

The graphic novel serves to connect all aspects of the Monsterverse, which has so far spanned five films — not including the upcoming Godzilla x Kong: Supernova — beginning with Godzilla in 2014 and spanning all the way through Kong: Skull Island, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Godzilla vs. Kong, and most recently Godzilla vs. Kong: The New Empire. The universe also includes Apple TV’s series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, from which the Monarch files get their names stars Kurt and Wyatt Russell as two versions of the same character battling against Titans.

Godzilla x Kong: Supernova is currently in production for a 2027 release, and is directed by Grant Sputore, who takes up the franchise reins from Adam Wingard. The film stars Sam Neill, Kaitlyn Dever, Jack O’Connell, Delroy Lindo, Matthew Modine, Alycia Debnam-Carey, and Dan Stevens,
