Sharks are the least of your worries with the new Horror movies on Shudder in September. Serial killers, malign supernatural forces, and a new terrifying reality competition show, Guts &Glory, from goremaster Greg Nicotero, will give you the chills as summer winds down and the scary season approaches. You don't have much longer to wait.
But, of course, we would be remiss if we didn't mention the new piping hot episode of The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs that will be heading your way very soon. Joe Bob and Darcy have a wonderfully wild and frightening double feature on the way and wisely have chosen to build up anticipation of its arrival by not announcing what films they will screen.
Among the repertory titles this month, don't miss the mid-'90s horror comedies Tales From the Crypt: Demon Knight and Bordello of Blood. It might be your only chance to watch Dennis Miller fight vampires, and Demon Knight was directed by Ernest Dickerson, so it's got a lot more going for it than you might think at first glance, including great performances from William Sadler, Jada Pinkett, and Billy Zane.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon also hits Shudder this month, and the show is a nice change of pace from what TWD fans are used to, since the story takes Daryl Dixon to France.
